Their case remained unsolved for nearly 37 years, finally being solved through the same DNA that linked them to the serial killer known as the East Area Rapist/The Original Nightstalker/Golden State Killer. But for Cheri's daughter Debbi, those 37 years took her down an unpredictable path that eventually led to recovery and hope.
